It's here! Oh my! I forgot what 20 yards of mulch looks like! |
But the beds will look so nice again. Plus will help with watering less often. |
And the pile begins. |
No we did not get a man in the deal to help us! Upper right corner. Neighbor painting the house next door. lol. But it sure looks like he is climbing out of the pile! lol. |
And he made it out! |
The difference between the bare ground and where we mulched. The plants really stand out now. |
The little girl seems to be saying....you missed a spot! There is bare ground here yet! O.K., O.K. little girl we filled it in. She was our supervisor! |
Oh- I hit something and my whole comment disappeared. I HATE when that happens! Anyway- I said your gardens look wonderful. It was worth all the hard work. How funny about the neighbor-he does look like he was buried. MyHero is NOT into outdoor chores so it falls to me...and I badly need to get some mulch delivered soon! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWhen I have finished the weeding and the planting of the spring bulbs I will order lots of mulch too. You are right about the water conservation - and it also means less weeds come through and they are easier to remove. Himself will not be well enough to help spread it though, so it will be my job.
ReplyDeleteAlways a fresh look when a good layer of mulch is spread..Now the real fun begins..planting and playing! Happy gardening to you. Arrived home from Arizona to cool temperatures..I think I'll postpone playing in my garden.
