Are any of you having trouble with this?

My hair probably looks this ad. I am running my hands through it (pulling my hair out) trying to see some of the posts from other bloggers. All I get is a black screen! The other day I couldn't post pictures! I think the blogging gods are not smiling on me lately!
One more week and I can finally show the results of all my work on the contest dollhouse. I am pleased with it. I really didn't think I would make the deadline. Pictures have to be in on Labor Day at the latest. But that is another "worry", Taking the pictures can be so hard! I do still have one more thing to do, but hopefully my hubby can cut that piece for me tomorrow. I am so ready to get the pictures e-mailed. Loved how it turned out, but I let it stress me out, (plus ALOT of stress at work). I am off work for most of next week. Sat. through Thursday. I don't know what I am going to do yet. But I am going to give myself some kind of treat for finishing this project. I didn't think that I was taking the stress at work home with me, but I was questioning a lot of decisions I was making on the contest and life. Finally I said enough and decided that those problems were going to stay at work. New bosses in the last year doesn't make for a fun time. But of course a lot of people are going through this not just our company. I can choose to let them get to me or just do my job and leave all the "stuff" there.
Anyway have a great week. Hugs, Teresa

Beachy kind of day!

A schooner (Lottie Cooper) that was discovered on Lake Michigan off Sheboygan Wisconsin. Fasinates me on how well these schooners were built without all the tools we have now. Wood looks pretty good after being sunk for so long.
Looking down the middle of the schooner
Loas, Hmong and American Veterans Memorial at the beach. A lot of mosiacs...very pretty.
Not sure if this is a B+B or someones home. But looking at some of the boats in the marina it could certainly belong to one of the boat owners. Look at those balconies! They even have walk-ways out to them. The landscaping is fantastic! Right across the street from the beach/ marina.
Guest house? Just to the left of the huge house. Look at all those windows. Great view of the lake.
Deland Park Beach. This beach is huge!  Very beautiful! With lighthouse and marina to the right. Cleanest beach I have seen.
Long walk out to the lighthouse.
The water was gorgeous!
Boats at the marine at Deland Park. Love all the colors.
We had fun watching this kite surfer at General King Park in Sheboygan. He did some flips, etc. He looked like he was having a blast! This is the first time I have ever sen kite surfing.
Beautiful Kite. It can really propel the surfer around. I think you need more muscles then what I have to harness the wind with this! I would love to go when more surfers are there. Both kite surfers and surf boarders. On Labor Day weekend there is a huge competition. This is one of the biggest fresh water competitons in the midwest. I would love to see it. It must be so cool to see all the kite surfers...beautiful and thrilling. The surf boarders would also be fun to see. I saw some in Hawaii. But this is suppose to bring surfers from EVERYWHERE!
We had a beautiful day to go. Weather couldn't have been more perfect! And who doesn't love the beach? Water just relaxes me. Now back to the real world. Hugs, Teresa

Jazzie has left home!

She is on a trip around the world that will take about 2 years, depending on how long people keep her, travel time between hosts, etc. I don't know when she will land here. But this is going to be so much fun! I joined the participants blogs so that I can "be there" when she arrives! Also I love to look into other peoples miniatures and crafts, lives, etc.. Too bad I can't show what I am working on now as it is for a miniature contest. But the pictures have to be in on Labor Day, Sept 3rd at the latest. So it won't be long until I can reveal my contest build! I am getting so excited to see where Jazzie shows up first! I had better start planning as who knows when she will arrive, in a few days, weeks or a couple of years. Whoo hoo!
