I really need to use more strawflowers and other natural items in my decorating.

These strawflowers are so bright against the green of the tree at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens.

I love how they used dried flowers to decorate this year.

Interesting! Plants are so fantastic in and out of bloom!

So wispy!

So many different shapes and colors.

                                                            So much to see!

The tree in all it's glory!
I will have to show you pictures of the light scenes in the gardens. But that will be another post. Hugs, Teresa

  1. How pretty. We call straw flowers paper daisies, and I have never seen them used that way. Thinking, thinking, thinking...
And a very happy Christmas to you and yours.

    1. Aren't they beautiful! I have grown them before (years ago) but never thought to use them in this way. I can see them used around jars holding candles, also framed with the flowers and greens creating a design. Too many ideas. Merry Christmas to you also. I hope the holidays are good to you.

    1. Isn't it beautiful! I need to plant some flowers to dry to use next Christmas. Or dry some of the hundreds we have in our gardens already.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. It looks like you have all been very busy!

    1. Aren't they Meredith. I am making a list of plants to add to our gardens to dry for next Christmas. Of course strawflowers don't have to be dried. If you have never grown them you should as they are so interesting.

    1. Isn't it. As you know each year is different. I hope you feel good soon and can get there. I bet it is a joy to see the kids eyes light up seeing all the lights.
