I hope everyone had a great Easter. We went for a drive and then visited my mom. 2 of my nephews were there. One is a carnival worker and I only see him about once or so a year. Which is really nice as for years we didn't know if he was even alive. He ran away from home at 17or 18 and we thought we would never see him again. Then one of my brothers and sister-in-law showed up also. So it was a nice day.
They are such pretty birds. I don't know why I didn't know that a migration happens so close to me. It was only about 3/4 of an hour drive. |
Of course almost anywhere that there is water there are geese. Coming in for a landing. |
I hope your Easter was full of love, magic (and chocolate). I had not heard of Tundra Swans before - thank you so much. Such majestic birds, I loved them.
ReplyDeleteOh-We have lots of geese here, too...and the fields abound with them but we don't have swans....they are gorgeous. I am so glad that you got to see your nephew and know he is alive and well- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures of the fields and birds. So glad you had a great day.

ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter to me how close you can get, I love seeing the pic's of all the birds.

I adore migration season. Its spectacular in natures way. I love the post below of your beloved beautiful dog. What an honor! She is a beauty and the timing is perfect with the weather changing in many parts of the country. Hugs. Tammy
